Media Coverage of Buddhiwadi Foundation
The 5 December, 2010,
function on Buddhiwadi Samaj completing 25years of its existence got a
modest coverage in the local media of Patna with four Hindi and one
English newspaper and a regional TV channel reporting about it.
Photographs and videos related to the event were uploaded on the newly
created page of the Buddhiwadi Foundation on the Facebook.
- Hindi article "Dharma Parivartan ek Manava adhikar" by Dr. Ramendra,
published earlier in 'Buddhiwadi' and 'Jan Mukti', has been included in
the book 'Sampradayikta ka Jahar' (2010), edited by Dr. Ranjeet.
- Dr. Ramendra's "Brahmanwaad ke Virudh Jagdev Prasad ka Sangharsh"
included as the first chapter in 'Shaheed ka Sangram' (2007), edited by
Ashok Kumar Sinha.
- The last chapter of the free e-book Some
Reflections on Ethics titled "Some
False Dichotomies" published in winter 2007 issue of
Humanist
Outlook, New Delhi.
- The
first chapter of the free e-book Rationalism,
Humanism and Atheism in Twentieth Century Indian Thought
titled "Rationalism,
Humanism and Atheism" published in summer 2007 issue of
Humanist Outlook, New Delhi.
- Malayalam
translation of Why I am Not a Hindu has
been included in Yuktidarshanam, a textbook
of rationalism, published by A.T. Kovoor Memorial Trust, Kerala (2007).
- Malayalam translation of Kya Ishwar Mar
Chuka hai? (Is God Dead?) by Sreeni Pattathanam
serialized in Yuktirajyam (2006).
- The
Myth of Unity of all Religions, published
originally as a booklet by the Buddhiwadi Foundation, has been
republished till now in Humanist Outlook( vol.10, No5, Autumn
2003), Indian Skeptic (vol.16,No.8, 15-12-2003),The Modern
Rationalist (vol.28 No.12 Jan 2004), The Radical Humanist (vol.67
No.10 Jan 2004) and Understanding Sikhism (Jan 2006)

(May 2004) has published a review of Dr.Ramendra's book M. N. Roy's New

- The Bertrand Russell Society Quarterly
(May 2003) has published
an article titled "Buddhiwadi Foundation: Aims and Activities" by Dr.
Kawaljeet
- Arjak Sandesh (Ara,
Bihar, April 2003) has reproduced two articles on Bhagat Singh and
Premchand from Buddhiwadi. It has also
included Dr. Ramendra's Main Hindu Kyon
Nahin (Hindi version of
Why I am Not a
Hindu) in its list of books worth reading.
- Malayalam translation of Dr Ramendra's Why I am Not
a Hindu by U. Kalanathan has been serialized in four issues of
Yuktirekha (Thrissur) in 2003.
- Relevance, a Gandhian journal
published from Patna, has reproduced two editorials of
Buddhiwadi in its different issues:
one, criticizing changes in history books taught in central
government schools in India; and two, analyzing the "logic" of
communalism (May 2002)
- Rationalist Voice (Hyderabad),
March-April 2002, has published a review of Dr. Ramendra's M. N. Roy's New
